Kere Habba had an estimated 2000-3000 visitors on 10th January 2015 for the first in the series of Lake Day series sponsored by Namma Bengaluru Foundation. The focus was on conservation and appreciation of lakes as hubs of community interation, bio-diversity and healthy living. This is an update on how transport, food, water and waste management was handled to make this a green event keeping with the theme of sustainability.
