Should Ramadoss ban spitting too?

He may have gotten famous for banning smoking, but perhaps Anbumani Ramadoss must take on the spitters too.

Some citizens seem obsessed with giving the city bus transport corporation a bad name, or so it would seem. It is utterly disgusting to see people take a deep breath, collect that gutkha concoction in the mouth and then aim it right onto the street, sometimes missing you by just an inch.

Observations on the roads

Okay, it may have been funny to see Leonardo Dicaprio teach Kate Winslet in Titanic the technique to spit the farthest. But it is most definitely not funny to see orange stains on the road.

If only Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss could do something about spitting! It would be welcomed with open arms if he banned spitting just like he has done with smoking.

This problem is fairly large in Bangalore and the rest of the country as well. But when there is so much talk about cleanliness, why not address this issue as well? Just like there are those keeping a tab on smokers in public, fines should be collected for the spitters who love leaving their mark, much to the disgust of those who witness it.

union health minister is appreciable for his ban on smoking in public areas. But it would be more benifecial if he can ban it completely, along with the TOTAL TOBACCO BAN in the country, if possible with BAN ON PRODUCTION of such products

I personaly have faced a worst ever moment in my life because of this …. habit (not getting any good words to prefix). We should really escalate the issuue.
