The 20th Inter Club Billiards and Snooker Handicap Tournament will be held from January 9th at the KSCA (Karnataka State Cricket Association) Clubhouse Billiards Section. The tournament will be open to all clubs affiliated to Karnataka State Billiards Association (KSBA).Twenty five entries are permitted. The matches will be in teams, with five players in each team and four to play. Best of three games will be selected. KSCA will simultanously hold the Karun Muthaiah Memorial Dependents Handicap Inter Club Snooker Tournament at the same venue, under the auspices of KSBA. Twenty entries are permitted.⊕

The Karnataka State Hockey Association, 'B' Division Hockey League Championship began on the 22nd of July and will go on till the 21st of August. Karnataka is fielding the second largest contingent after hosts Tamil Nadu, of girls and boys totaling 23 in the Billiards & Snooker Nationals at Chennai. The inaugural match of the Indian Volley League (IVL) between Karnataka Bulls and Yanam Tigers took place at Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium on Sunday, May 29th at 6.30 pm. The publicity that the IVL took so much trouble for seemed to be of little use. The tournament saw a keenly contested battle for the first place.
