On May 2nd, Transport Minister R Ashok inaugurated an incomplete JP Nagar underpass near 24th Main, 15th Cross road junction. S K Umesh, Inspector of JP Nagar Police Station, informs that JP Nagar Police Station will serve as the pilot for a new communication system that helps the station officials communicate with constables on the beat. From January 29th, around 600 SSLC students of government schools and aided schools, from the Jayanagar assembly constituency, are putting extra effort into preparing for their upcoming final exams. Dhanvantari Park in JP Nagar II phase has been in the news recently. The move to install an idol of Dhanvantari, regarded as the god of Ayurveda and a shelter for the same, has become a controversy.
