As a wheelchair user, who likes to travel and go around the city, the biggest hurdle is navigating public spaces and using public transport to get around. I grew up in a home that didn't hate dogs but never really loved them either. I was consciously told to avoid dogs, always. In part one, I wrote about my experience as a regular user of public transport. I described what it is like to commute by walking, by bus, and by cabs and auto rickshaws. This article will provide insights about using the metro and my perspective as a pedestrian. As a regular user of public transport in Bengaluru, I would like to share my experiences and offer some suggestions for improving the same. My observations will not be restricted to only vehicles and movement.
