Nandi Hillathon is the first of its kind marathon and walkathon bring organised in the picturesque locale of Nandi Hills. It is a unique marathon where the entire proceeds collected from the marathon and walkathon will be used to help in the restoration of Nandi Hills and also support causes in select neigbourhoods.
This is an annual city-wide fundraiser event which will be anchored by United Way to encourage associations like RWAs, running and cucling groups, lake groups, NGOs, to raise resources for their respective neighbourhoods.

Nandi Hillathon is inclusive – the local youth will be participating in it. Entry for the local girl children is free. Youth from around the area in about 15+ villages would also be participating. Added to this is the participation of Transgender community in the event.
Nandi Hillathon is scheduled for Sunday June 12th, 7 am to 11 am at Discovery Village. The event comprises of two race and family fun arena.
The marathon, which covers 21 km, will flag off from Discovery Village, Next to Kanive Nandishwara Temple, Nandi Foot Hills, Near Sulthanpet, Chikkaballapur at 7 am.
The 6 km walkathon will flag off from Discovery Village, Next to Kanive Nandishwara Temple, Nandi Foot Hills, Near Sulthanpet, Chikkaballapur at 8 am.
Family Fun Zone is a place where participants’ family members can participate in various folk/traditional games like leaf painting, Buguri (Top Spinning), Goli (Marbles), Gilli Danda, Chatara Billu (Catapult), Chowka Bara, Chinni Mane, Lagori, Cycle Tyre Race, Pagade, Skipping, Kunte Pille. This will be open from 8 am to 11 am.
