The boys’ and girls’ teams of Sports School, Kudige emerged victors at the Rotary Indirangar inter-school hockey tournament as it drew to a close on 3rd September. The final matches were held at the Karnataka State Hockey Stadium (KSHA) in Langford Town. It was the 21st edition of the ‘G.S.Randhawa Memorial Inter School Boys Hockey Tournament’, and the maiden edition of the ‘Bangalore Bothi Reddy Cup Inter School Girls Hockey Tournament’.
The Kudige boys’ team beat Rashtriya Military School and the girls’ team beat Bishop Cotton ‘A’ in the finals to clinch the title. Jyothi from Kudige and Vivek Kumar from Rashtriya Military School were adjudged ‘Best Player of the Tournament’.
