The BBMP Election office has issued a public notice on model code of conduct to be followed by candidates and political parties during the BBMP Election-2015 scheduled for August 22nd. The model code of conduct has come into effect from July 17th and will be in force till August 28th. The code of conduct is applicable to only those areas within the limits of BBMP. There will not be water supply in some areas of Bengaluru on September 18 and 19, as Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) is conducting emergency maintenance of pumps and electrical circuits, in Cauvery 1st and 2nd stage water supply system, in T K Halli, Harohalli and Thathaguni. The wait to see a giraffe walk around in Bannerghatta Biological Park (BBP) is going to take a while longer. This is because the only cage available in south India to get the giraffe from Mysore zoo to Bangalore is available at Tirupati zoo, also known as Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park. The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corportation today launched BIAS- 5 A , the much awaited Vayu Vajra bus service to the Bangalore International Airport for the benefit of residents on Bannerghatta Main Road. Starting from Gottigere on Bannerghatta Main Road ,the BIAS- 5A service would cover the near 47 km journey in about two hours with the maximum fare at Rs 200. For now , six trips are scheduled for BIAL from Gottigere while the return service would number five.
