The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) presented the much delayed annual budget for the fiscal year 2011-12. A cursory look at the budget suggests that BBMP is in as much a mess as Satyam Computers was at the time of confession of fraud by its founder. The boys’ and girls’ teams of Sports School, Kudige emerged victors at the Rotary Indirangar inter-school hockey tournament as it drew to a close on 3rd September. The final matches were held at the Karnataka State Hockey Stadium (KSHA) in Langford Town. It was the 21st edition of the ‘G.S.Randhawa Memorial Inter School Boys Hockey Tournament’, and the maiden edition of the ‘Bangalore Bothi Reddy Cup Inter School Girls Hockey Tournament’.
