A one-day workshop on “Human Eye and the Colourful World’ for high school teachers of science will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium on July 12, 2018. This chapter, from class X text book, will be discussed in detail while clarifying conceptual understanding, suggesting interesting activities to teach optics in general and the said chapter in particular. Common misconceptions and textbook errors, if any, will also be discussed.

Year-long research classes for Science Degree students
Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium is also conducting a programme for college students. A year-long weekend classes for B.Sc. students, named Research Education Advancement Programme (REAP-Physics) and REAP (biology) is commencing from August 2018, upto March 2019 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium. Registration start from July 15, 2018 on first-come-first-served basis.
