Mumbai is the most expensive city for expatriates According to Mercer’s 2022 Cost of Living survey, Mumbai has ranked 127 among the costliest cities in India in terms of living expenses and accommodation costs. The number of vehicles is increasing at an alarming rate, while the infrastructure to hold them remains limited. Poor traffic management near school zones, particularly, is a safety concern for all as vehicles queue up, reducing visibility. On June 22, 91 out of the 1,648 new cases of COVID in Mumbai were hospitalised, taking the total number of occupied beds to 666. Less rainfall in Mumbai as monsoon begins Monsoon touched Mumbai on June 11th this year, and yet, the city has reported unusually low rainfall.
