I went to the Southern Railways site to book a ticket and got this message: " E-ticketing facility has been temporarily stopped. Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.". Why are we at the mercy of a monopolistic service who are so customer-unfriendly? Not a word of explanation....or any information about when the service will be restored. Why do we get such shoddy service from our Government departments?⊕

A few months ago, all cooking gas agencies made their customers submit documents asking for the RR no. (the consumer no for the electricity connection). When my daughter visited Bangalore, she went by herself to get a lot of shopping done. This morning, I went to her room here in the US, to see something, and found out what happens to (at least the print edition) of Citizen Matters after it is read....This pleased me intensely, as the whole Citizen Matters team is a great one for recycling and re-using, and what better use of paper than to recycle it and make containers?So Citizen Matters is useful to the public....when it's being read, and afterwards, too!  ⊕
