This city station requires ramp on par with yeswanthur for easy walking/escalator instead of old staircase which were built 30-40 years back, elderly people cannot climb the stair case. Also the pushcart facility should be increased. Toiler in the I plaltform is closed for repair. Many people are not aware of rest room toilets.

I agree. Today I saw a few trolleys “for use by passengers” at the Cantonment Railway Station, lying unsused, gathering rust and dust. They were all jammed together, and hence not usable. Poor maintenance seems to be the motto of Indian Railways today.

  3. Stephen Mathew says:

Had a worst experience in the retiring room and dormitory at SBC station. The dormitories are resting place for bed bugs and you are sure to get paid sleepless night. If you do research in beg bugs or if you are an entomologist this is the right choice for your expedition.

They build a flat sheet of nonsticky web with a funnel-shaped retreat to one side or occasionally in the middle, depending on the situation and species. The typical hunting mode is…

Theatre Review: “Credit Titles” by Bangalore Little Theatre

It was like a rare alignment of the planets: several factors come together to pull me out of my usual Ranga Shankara ambit for watching a play. I had not been to visit Bangalore International Centre, which opened a while ago in Domlur; Bangalore Little Theatre, as part of their "VP 80" festival, was staging "Credit Titles"; the play, written by Vijay Padaki, whose 80th birthday the festival marks, was based on a story by Vinod Vyasulu, an eminent economist whom I've known for a long time, as our daughters share a cose friendship dating from 1988. And last but…
