There was a partial lunar eclipse on December 31st 2009 - January 1st 2010. Though it was a cloudy night on the eve of New Year, some parts of India observed partial lunar eclipse. As I went up the escalator towards the movie theatre, the numerous posters and signs, left me in no doubt that I was in the right place.
