Today, I was asked to judge a debate on the theme, "Are Women Truly LIberated?" for the Inner Wheel of one of the Rotary Clubs of Bangalore. I received the following email from another member of the cycling egroup that I belong to: I'm Charles Hayward and I had a large stroke on Easter Sunday of this year. BBMP and PES College jointly co-ordinated a program to plant 300 different varieties of saplings on the roadside of Ganesha Temple in Ward No 165. PES College provided 300 tree guards.Extensive tree planting has been going on all over Bangalore with the help of public and private organizations. BBMP has provided 40 thousand tree guards. Several individuals and organizations have contributed nearly 50 thousand tree guards. After close to three years of delay, a 66 KVA substation will finally be constructed in Jaynagar 3rd Block by Karnatka Power Transmicssion Company Limited (KPTCL).   It was unusual to find the ATM closed, yet with a queue in front of it, so I looked..and found that the ATM cash was being refilled. Here's the procedure. The cash is taken by two or three young men into the ATM, which is then shut (but not locked, because the men might need to come out).
