On Saturday, January 26th, I completed the Oxfam Trailwalker for the second successive year. A start to finish 100-km walk by teams of four, it offered me quality time for reflection, 32 hours to be precise.Oxfam India Trailwalker is a team challenge organised to raise funds for Oxfam India, the 61 year old NGO, for its activities that fight poverty and injustice. Bangaloreans started their day with a fitness run on Sunday, 4 March. Contours, a women's only fitness gym held its 3rd edition of fitness run of 10 kilometres. It is held every year close to the women's day. This run started at 6.30 am from Kanteerava stadium. Dancing their way with aerobics. Runners For Life, a community of people who run to get fit announced their new event ‘Feet on the Street', a 5km run to be held in the city.
