The Rang De Bangalore Chapter is organizing ‘A Walk with a Changemaker‘ with Ms. Usha Rajagopalan this Sunday, the 23rd of June, 2013 at the Puttenahalli Lake. Usha Rajagopalan, who spearheaded the Puttenahalli Neighborhood Lake Improvement Trust (PNLIT), will share her story, the challenges faced and the hardships they overcame for the successes of the project.
The Rang De Bangalore Chapter is a group of interesting and enthusiastic folks from the city that believe in the power of microcredit want to make poverty history in India. The chapter formally kicked off on 13 September 2009 and has covered a lot of ground since. They have been part of field visits and have visited the beneficiaries of Rang De’s loans, held Rang De Box Office screenings and also participated in many events to raise funds and awareness about Rang De.

Rang De is a non-profit online platform that enables individuals (Social Investors) to lend Rs.100 or more to rural entrepreneurs from low income households at www.rangde.org. Founded in 2008, Rang De’s mission is to make poverty history in India by making microcredit affordable to people.
